Day 49 - Indian Sands - Whalehead Beach - Lone Ranch

Ellie leads the way onto Indian Sands.

This is a pretty cool area – the dunes sit behind the rocky outcroppings.

The Sands are huge dunes wedged between sea stacks.

Woohoo! Dune running is as good as canyon running.

Ellie is learning that uphill dune running is much harder than downhill.

Contemplating the Pacific.

There are natural bridges everywhere.

The trail to the cliffs and dunes is one of the steepest we've encountered this trip. But luckily not too long!

Today's Flotsam of the Day – these jelly fish were everywhere.
